Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 June 2026

LedgerLift ("we", "us") builds a tool that converts bank and credit-card statement PDFs into spreadsheets. This policy explains what we do — and, more importantly, what we deliberately do not do — with your data.

The short version

Your statement files are processed entirely inside your web browser. They are never uploaded to us or to anyone else. We cannot see them, store them, or recover them. There is no account to create.

Your statement files

What we store on your device

If you purchase Pro and activate a license key, that key is stored in your browser's local storage so you don't have to re-enter it. You can remove it any time from the converter page. It never identifies you to us beyond validating that the key is genuine.

License validation

When you activate a license key, the app sends only that key to our payment provider (Lemon Squeezy) to confirm it is valid. No statement data is included in this request. See Lemon Squeezy's privacy policy for how they handle license records.

Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to count anonymous page views and understand which pages are useful. This never captures your files, their contents, or anything you type into the converter. We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell data.

Payments

Purchases are handled by our payment provider, who processes your payment details directly. We never see your full card details. The provider may hold your email and order record to deliver your license and handle refunds.

Your rights

Because we don't collect personal data through the app, there's little for us to expose, correct or delete. For purchase records held by our payment provider, contact us and we'll help with access or deletion requests.
