Correct. LedgerLift is a static web app; the conversion code runs in your browser using your computer's resources. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and it still works. The only network request the app ever makes is an optional license-key check when you activate Pro.
Text-based PDF statements — the kind you download directly from your bank's online portal. Scanned/photographed statements (images) aren't supported yet because they contain no selectable text.
It's bank-agnostic. Instead of hard-coding each bank, LedgerLift reads the table layout in your PDF and lets you confirm the result. Most checking, savings and credit-card statements work; you fix any stray rows before exporting.
